
Aryaman Jaiswal is an Indian-American composer, bassist, producer, and music educator based out of Memphis, TN. He emphasizes in creating music for visual media of all kinds. He has scored several short films, including “Distant” (2021), which received the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Tagore International Film Festival, the Silver Award at the Virgin Spring Cinefest, and received IMDB accreditation.
Under the mentorship of Christopher Stark, Aryaman has completed the Bachelor of Music Composition degree program at Washington University in St. Louis (2020-2024). He also participated in NYU’s 2023 Film Scoring Summer Workshop where he was mentored by acclaimed film composer Michael Levine and his music was mixed by Grammy and Emmy-award winner Lawrence Manchester.
Jaiswal composes music that is heavily inspired by 20th-century minimalist composers including Steve Reich, Arvo Pärt, and Phillip Glass. His chamber music has been performed by members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. He is also well-versed in electronic music composition with an extensive background in analog and digital synthesis, along with mixing techniques.
